Livestream FAQ

Why Livestreaming?

  • Livestreaming your wedding or even offers a safe way to share your celebration with friends and family remotely and in real time.

Where can you stream to?

  • Currently I can stream to a number of easily accessible locations including YouTube, Vimeo, Facebook, and more! Simply inquire to find out.

What do you need to stream?

  • In order to deliver the best quality image it is important to have access to a strong wifi network that can be saved for streaming, ideally one that is private. Simply put, if too many people are on the same network it can affect quality. Streaming over cell networks is also possible. Other than that, just a clear shot of the action!

Can you record/save what you stream?

  • Absolutely! I can record everything I stream and treat it as normal video in the post-production process.

How does audio work?

  • A wireless mic that feeds directly to the streaming camera/set-up is needed in order to have the best possible audio. This can be done a few ways- as a lapel mic, as a handheld mic, or through a DJ or band’s sound system using their microphones.

how can I access the stream?

  • Go to www.stevelevincinematography.com/live and simply click on the button for the event you wish to watch. A new button will be created for all streams. Stream pages are password protected by default and your guests will need the password to view the stream, which I provide and can be customized.

Does my venu need to know?

  • Yes as I may need access to a password-protected wifi network provided by them. Public networks will of course work but they can easily be slowed down with other traffic.

  • Also, a speed test may need to be performed before your event date to ensure network strength.

How much does it cost to stream my event?

  • $500.00 and I can add it onto any other package. I even have a streaming-only one. Click the button below to learn more!
